Barbara Gurgen, PMHNP-BC, FNP

Barbara is a dual Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner as well as a Family Nurse Practitioner. Graduated from South University in 2012 with Honors and later obtained a post -Masters as a Psychiatric Nurse practitioner. She has over 10 years of experience working with individuals who struggle with Depression, Anxiety, PTSD, ADHD, OCD, Autism and addiction.

My passion is to make a positive change to each persons’ life . Barbara uses a holistic approach grounded in nutrition, exercise, sleep, and each individuals’ inner peace. I like to empower my patients to participate in their care, while feeling heard and understood. Listening to my patients is imperative, it helps me gain a understanding of my patients symptoms and concerns.

Currently, she is working in the Orlando area and a proud mom of two children. She enjoys the outdoors, travel, and painting.
