Background
I am a licensed psychologist with a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology and over 20 years of experience as a clinician and a researcher. As a clinician, I focus on the use of cognitive-behavioral therapy, mindfulness and acceptance-based therapies, and related evidence-based interventions. I specialize in the treatment of anxiety disorders and obsessive-compulsive disorders, and I work with both children and adults.
Clinical Interests
Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder
Body Focused Repetitive Behaviors, including:
– Hair pulling (trichotillomania)
– Skin picking (excoriation disorder)
Anxiety disorders, including:
– Selective mutism
– Generalized anxiety disorder
– Social anxiety disorder
– Separation anxiety
Evidence-based psychotherapy, with particular interests in cognitive-behavioral therapy, exposure therapy, and mindfulness and acceptance based therapies
